Here we have an old (mid 20th century)
and substantial brass scorpion ring from the
Lobi tribe of Burkina Faso.
It's a ring size 10.5 and the ring weights 12gr.
The scorpion has a length of 31mm (1.2").
This ring has been made with the lost wax method.
That means, that the mold is destroyed after each casting,
so every jewel is a unique piece.
This ring has a gorgeous smooth patina and
is nicely worn! In perfect condition and ready
to wear!
