Hilal (crescent moon) or salhat amulet from Siwa Oasis, Egypt. It has engravings on the front side. This is a nice medium to larg sized one, with a hole to string in easily with a leather cord. These amulets were worn as good luck and protection talismans. This high grade silver amulet is in great condition with a good wearable size. Comes with quite some patina, which can be polished if desired so.
