The word Rudraksha has its origin from the Sanskrit words
"Rudra" and "Aksha". ‘Rudra’ is another name of Lord Shiva,
and ‘aksha’ means teardrops. So Rudraksha means "Tears of Lord Shiva".
Rudraksha is a large tree which grows in the area of the Himalaya (Nepal).
These beads are the seeds of the Rudraksha fruit obtained from Rudraksha trees.
They are worn as malas, necklaces, bracelets....
