small and cute gau (also spelled Ghau or Gao) prayer box pendant
adorned with the double-dorje and a tiny coral or turquoise.
This prayer box can be opened with a screw pin
and it is used to hold and carry powerful amuletic objects.
As used in Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, and Mongolia, the Gau box
usually contains a written prayer or a sacred yantra diagram
such as the kalachakra.
