Bold and fantastic Tibetan 800 silver (stamped 800) gau (also spelled Ghau or Gao) prayer box pendant adorned with greenish-blue turquoises and corals. The backside is plain. It is not possible to open this gau, as it has been sealed. This prayer box is used to hold and carry powerful amuletic objects. Used in Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan and Mongolia. A most beautiful example of a Tibetan/ Nepali Gau.
